Four Moons Dream
The planet Pluto is right now transiting back and forth over 26 degrees of Sagittarius and will make two more conjunctions before it is over. I am in the middle of the transit and it has been enlightening and very painful but I am deeply grateful for the awareness as I have had to face a Mother complex that had been driving me unconsciously my entire life. And because I have been circumambulating around this complex many times, I can honestly say this dream which I had at the beginning of the transit foretold that I would reach completion. FOUR means completion. That is the blessing. Finally I understand and can do my life different. Yes, a lot of our life is fate but at all times we are FREE to make new choices. I will never be the same again.

MOON - The Moon placement is instinctive. If the Sun is what you are striving to become, the Moon is what gives you your inherent personality from birth. The Moon is symbolic of our emotions, our feelings, our capacity for giving and receiving nurturing, as well as empathy and responsiveness to others. It describes what we need for security and safety. It is also a symbol of our relationship with our mother or our first caretaker and it also describes our genetic heritage, earliest experiences and habit patterns. The Moon is one of the feminine principles in the birth chart. It is symbolic of our most receptive self.

My Moon is in Sagitarius at 26 degrees, the exact degree of the Galactic Center of the Universe. Sagitarius is the sign of the teacher, philosopher, preacher, perpetual student and I can see future trends before they manifest. I can also be downright self-righteous, a know-it-all, rude and blunt. But I strive for honesty and being real in all my relationships so at least you will know where I stand. You will never have to guess. The way I was born to nuture others is to teach and share with others so that they too can learn from my life’s experiences. I love to travel and am very adventurous. I sometimes seesaw between optimism and cynicism. Getting older has made me more realistic but nothing can keep my down for long so yes, I am the eternal optimist also but now there is some balance..

FOUR MOONS DREAM

I dreamed I was with my Mom in her house (which means I am still living out a mother complex that I inherited from her). I look out the window and I see two full moons in the sky. (Two is a doubling which means something is getting clear consciously). I say, "Mom, let's go outside and see the two moons." We go out and there is a valley below us so we walk down into it. (The valley symbolizes the unconscious - what is below - you have to go into the past and into the emotional pain, i.e. the Moon). It is a carnival or a fair and there are a lot of people (the collective unconscious - the fair or the carnival is going in circles, games people play). It is completely surrounded by very tall trees (a sacred space - a temenos) and I can no longer see the Moons. I start looking around as I want to get a better look so on my left I see some bleachers. I left her there with the crowd and I climbed up to the top of the bleachers (up high - Higher consciousness - awareness) and when I reached the top I was now over the trees and there in the sky were FOUR FULL MOONS! Four means completion. That dream was over a year ago. Last weekend I made a tribute to the dream in this photographic image and it is hanging in my new office. Today January 23, 2007 I woke up and knew the total meaning of the dream.

It means I will no longer continue the karmic pattern I inherited from my Mom. (Most of us don't realize how much our wounds are inherited and come down the pike from generation to generation). We think we are conscious of our choices and they are mostly unconsious. Studying Jung all these years, I have such an incredible respect now for what is unconscious. You can actually see the symbolic representation in the astrological birth chart but just because you can see the pattens initially doesn't stop them. For me the pattern repeated enough to realize and acknowledge with total awareness what was unconsciously motivating my experiences. I will no longer sacrifice myself to emotionally damaged souls that I think I can “save.” (Venus-Neptune conjunction). These individuals need to do their own work. I am now free to live out another more CONSCIOUS side of Neptune. (Service to others in impersonal avenues such as writing, creativity, music, art, photography and spirituality, oneness with God). My connection to my source has deepened from this powerful dream. As my friend Walid Bugazia said to me, “You are loved, Rebeca. The creator himself (herself) loves you enough to give you this powerful dream. What more could you want?” (Walid also has a Venus-Neptune conjunction.)

I live in awe of the synchronicity of the dream (which perfectly symbolizes my current transit of Pluto to the Moon) and how God/Goddess/the unconscious is always communicating with us through our dreams, nature and each other. When we are in touch with something so numinous, it indeed changes/transforms us. (Pluto)
