POETRY ELEVEN

Goodbye Father

You Were the Best

by Tiziana Pantaleoni

Qualities,

precious fragments

prisoners of the hard

rock of earth,

re-united,

perfectly,

               in You.

While, still a child,

beaming by your side,

crowd bound thinking

“this is my father”,

       my eyes

brinning with pride.

No other man

has ever brought me

so many gifts,

interconnected.

IRONY alone

can reveal

the Mistery

of a Smiling Destiny,

This made you

                        GREAT.

GENEROSITY,

the will

to undestand

     Pain,

Courage

to look

between the folds,

    made you

                      UNIQUE.

The Taste for Life

and her pleasures,

The curiosity and interest

 in all around you

      Gave

Sprinklings of Wit,

Humorous Saying

and Verts of Truth

      to ours talks.

When ,

the Blackness

came around me,

like a blanket,

you were there,

protecting me

from the insidious night.

No judgement,

no sentences,

                   Just Love.

And,now,broken

       MIND,

      HEART,

       BODY

  from the Pain.

All I want are

                       WORDS,

               again

                       TALKS,

               again

                        LOVE,

               again.

they know

each other,

more than

humanly

possible.

And,

the more distant

and divided,

through fiery

transubstantiation

and intense visceral pain,

the neurons

seek each other out.

Synapses,

imperceptible and invisible,

pactching

the empty distances.

and, now,

the shireking

disharmony

of Passion

-chess like-

-black and white-

illuminating,

blowing,

uplifting,

light and slight,

Dance of Love.
