We may truly suffer after a bad relationship ends or may even feel we are stuck in a difficult one now
but if we can learn to see our past and present experiences from a different perspective by doing
“shadow work,” we will find out the Universe actually had our back all along.
Logically, the opposite of love is hate, and of Eros, Phobos (fear); but psychologically it is the will to power. Where love reigns, there is no will to power; and where the will to power is paramount, love is lacking.

Being in the human experience, we have all had many painful, difficult experiences where it clearly looks like it is the other persons fault, or bad luck in life or whatever else we want to call it. So taking responsibility for what appears to come to us is no easy task but it is well worth the effort. When we have the courage to open our eyes and see the mirror (Venus) they represent, we are on our way to healing an internal split. We can’t change anything we don't know about. Shadow integration is the doorway into the unconscious that leads one to find his or her inner divinity (the Self) which ultimately can be experienced as wholeness.
The Shadow, a psychological term introduced by the late Swiss psychiatrist, Carl G. Jung is everything in us that is unconscious, repressed, undeveloped and denied. These are dark rejected aspects of our being as well as light, so there is positive undeveloped potential in the Shadow that we don’t know about and badly need.
In this 1.5 hour talk we will go over 6 of the ways we can clearly recognize our shadow selves. The 7th being located in our 7th house is the most revealing of our GOLD and what the alchemists called our prima materia. In this self-discovery we are being given a gift. Find out why.

Living with and Loving the Man or Woman in the Mirror
Life is a series of relationships and regardless of gender or sexual orientation, the main ingredient in all of them is energy. Our energy, who we are at birth (time, place and date) is how we draw people to us repeatedly so that we can know ourselves. This talk is to learn about Carl Jung’s most valuable concept — what he called our shadow, how to live with it and love it — together!

This talk will explain Carl Jung’s concept of the shadow and how our oppositions contain opportunities for integration and collaboration. Our relationships will be described by our biggest opposition — self (1st house) and other (7th house). A union of opposites is what we are all really striving for when we fall in love and the opposite is also true, when we can’t stand another person and they become our open enemy which are both descriptive of the 7th house. In this experiential class, Rebeca will have extensive handouts and we will learn more about ourselves and our unconscious other who is always with us whether we realize it or not.
